So I've been attending a conference in Dallas in the North End since Saturday. I've been out a few times to some local spots and had a chance to sample some microbrews. Some are Texas natives and some aren't but what I've tasted so far have been really good. The first stop was a to an Irish Pub where they had Stone IPA on tap. I've had this in bottles before but never really decided to get another six pack as I like trying to many different beers. Stone IPA leaves a nice citrusy hop flavor in your mouth. It has a spicy nose to it which I liked quite a lot. The color was a very nice Amber color, looks to be filtered quite a bit and has a crisp look to it. The beer was slightly dry but not in an overpowering way. It comes in at 6.8% which is on par with most IPA's.
